At Edge, we’re proud of our family values and the partnerships we have. This ethos is inherent in every part of our company and what we do. We treat our employees as extended family and we carefully nurture partnerships with like-minded businesses who share our family values.
We’ve been reflecting on some of our long-standing partnerships and one that has really stood the test of time for us is our relationship with insurance brokers, Powell Commercial Limited, whom we have been working with since 1968.
This partnership was started by the current owners’ fathers when Edge Transport were running three Tippers from a piece of land in Waverton. A casual ‘knock on the door’ by way of introduction and a cup of tea on a cold winter’s day has resulted in a relationship that continues to flourish 54 years later. Powell’s have helped our business in a range of areas and worked with us to create a bespoke solution that fits the needs of our business.
