We’re embracing sustainability and have welcomed our first electric truck to the fleet!

Environmentally conscious, as well as great to drive, this is a significant milestone for Edge and signals a fabulous start to 2024.
Our new electric truck isn’t just good for the environment, it’s a pleasure to drive. It signals our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and embracing cleaner, greener vehicle solutions.
Weighing in at a whopping 2,000kg, the onboard batteries provide a substantial 186-mile range on a single charge—more than enough to handle our local collections and deliveries throughout the day. And when it’s time for a quick top-up, our onsite fast charger ensures minimal downtime, keeping the vehicle running smoothly and efficiently.
Speaking of minimal downtime, we’re not planning to use this electric truck sparingly, it will be put to work, during day and night. Once collections and deliveries to our customers are completed, it will then be utilised for nightly runs to the local Palletline hub.
So far, the feedback on the new electric truck has been overwhelmingly positive. Our drivers love its quiet, comfortable ride, whilst our customers appreciate our commitment to integrate sustainable solutions into our operation.
