Christleton Rocks: Edge are the main stage!

“Can you lend us a trailer please – we’ve been let down at short notice and we need a stage for the band” Not one of the typical calls we receive but in this case definitely something that we could help with!
Christleton Cricket and Football Club run an annual event called Christleton Rocks. Live music, food, bar and fun for the family. Its always a great evening and this year featured live music from Le Verg, Radio Silence and The Devoted. The organisers team had just found out that the trailer that they usually used as a stage was no longer available and were frantically ringing round local companies to try and source a solution.
Christleton is where the Edge family live so we’ve spent many an hour at the club watching the cricket or taking the kids to training sessions there so it was a straight Yes from us!
We knew what the access was like and immediately thought that one of our 40ft trailers would be perfect as a stage but it wouldn’t get down the access lane, let alone behind the club house where the stage is usually positioned.
The answer – one of our rigid vehicles. Dropped off on the Friday afternoon, collected on the Monday morning and used for much fun in between as you can see from the images below.
