90 years of Excellence
90 years of excellence is being celebrated in 2023. So here at Edge we are assessing our impact on the transport, distribution, logistics and warehousing industries.
From our early history with Alfred Edge and his commitment to distributing goods to the armed forces, during the war. Then later, Jonathan Edge taking us into our new purpose built site with a 70,000sq ft warehouse. Our fleet of vehicles and demand for warehousing is ever growing.
The values we hold dear to us (Caring, commitment & ambition) are integrated into our day to day operation. We continue to be ambitious to improve and provide the best quality service we can.
To celebrate this milestone we have some really ambitious plans throughout the year 0f 2023. Celebrating 90 years of business is no mean feet and to begin our historic year we have unveiled our 90th anniversary truck with a special livery designed by local school children. The logo you see below was directly inspired by one of our winning participants in the truck livery competition. We could not be proud to incorporate a piece of community on our truck.

Our truck is now on the road completing deliveries for you and beginning its journey all across the UK. Our ‘Big 90’ truck will rack up over 650,000km minimum throughout its expected lifecycle. This new Vovlo FH truck has a wide array of different accessories inside and out of the cab, with Durabright spotlight bars out the front and a Euro 6-compliant D13K Step E engine (500hp).
90 years is a massive milestone in our industry and shows our dedication to what we do. Due to the reputation and commitment we have, we will continue on stronger.
